Other states better prepare their students for California’s creative careers and Create CA is working hard to change that.
We partnered with Gladeo and The LA County Department of Arts and Culture to make a Creative Careers online tool designed to inspire youth to discover, prepare for, and pursue careers in the arts and creative industries. This unique resource introduces young people to various creative careers, provides information about what is needed to land their first job, and features diverse professionals who speak frankly about how to succeed in these fields. Anyone who visits the site can easily explore the exciting world of creative careers, customize their search based on their interests, and learn from industry professionals who’ve taken a similar path. It’s launching in Spring 2022, so stay tuned for more info! We’ll be looking to you to help get it to the students, teachers, and career counselors who need it most!
