WHY CREATIVITY MATTERS
Arts education fuels imagination, confidence, and community. Through the Peanuts x Create CA collaboration, we’re spotlighting the teachers who bring creativity to life every day – and sharing new Peanuts artwork that reminds us why creativity matters.
Throughout 2026, we’ll release monthly Peanuts-inspired messages highlighting how arts education helps students learn, grow, and thrive. Follow along, share your favorites, and help us spread the message that creativity is essential for every student, every day.

My Voice Matters: The Arts Spark Creativity for Brighter Futures
is a K–5 lesson that introduces students to the power of the arts as a tool for self-expression, connection, and community engagement.
Through guided discussion, hands-on artmaking, and opportunities to share, students learn what the arts are, why they matter, and how they can use their voices respectfully to speak up for what they care about. Designed to be easy to implement and adaptable to different classroom settings, the lesson builds confidence in self-expression while highlighting the important role artists play in schools and communities.

How to Participate:
Hang your poster in your classroom.
Wear your t-shirt, stand in front of the poster and take a photo or film a short video sharing why creativity matters.
